Own the names

A custom basket you actually hold — not a wrapper you rent.

Direct indexing on Delvue is a builder: pick a SADC or global blueprint, tilt sectors, drop names, cap weights. The mock shows sector bars and exclusion chips. Live trading is not on yet. The idea is ownership and tax-aware lots when local rules allow.

Blueprint

Start from a published basket — SADC giants, NSX-tilted, global quality — then edit.

Tilts & caps

Overweight energy, cap tech, keep health inside a ceiling.

Exclusions

Drop tickers or whole industries. The builder should show the tracking error you just bought.

Why not just buy an ETF

ETFs are excellent tools. They are also wrappers: you do not pick the name that just became a 9% weight, you do not harvest a single loser, and you pay someone to keep the wrapper tidy. Direct indexing is for investors who want the index idea with a veto and a lot file. It is not cheaper magic. It is more control.

  • True-name (or fractional-name) ownership model
  • Exclusion and tilt without waiting for an ETF issuer
  • Tracking error is visible, not a surprise in year three

Africa is not a US SMA factory

US direct indexing grew on $100k SMA tickets and a tax code that loves harvesting. Namibia is different: thinner names, NAD funding, and a tax environment you must not oversell. Our builder is honest about liquidity and about when a name simply cannot be held in size.

  • Liquidity flags on thin NSX names
  • Fractionalisation planned so N$ tickets still map to a basket
  • No claim of 1.8% “tax alpha” as a guarantee — that is US marketing residue

How it sits next to AI and RWA

The index can be the core. AI sleeves can be the satellite. Tokenized infrastructure can sit in the alternatives bucket. The mosaic on this page is the builder; the dashboard is the roll-up.

  • Core / satellite without three custodians
  • Rebalance notes can sell index names and leave RWA alone
  • Academy modules explain tracking error before you click build

Is this live on the NSX?

No. This is a product design page. Market access depends on licences, brokers, and launch — not this mock.

Fractional shares?

Planned so small NAD tickets can still map to a 100-name idea. Mechanics TBA in launch docs.

Can I exclude one company?

That is the point of the builder. Tracking error will be shown, not hidden.

Minimum?

Likely above the N$ 100 RWA ticket. We will not invent a number here.

Direct Indexing is on the map. The desk is not live.
